What’s The Best Wireless Microphones For 2023…so far?

The wireless microphone manufacturers have been moving fast and furiously in bringing new products to market while updating current models. I’ve been testing Logitech for Creators’ Mevo Start Wireless Camera System and, since the built in microphone leaves room for improvement, especially when attempting to capture dialog, I thought it would be the perfect model to use to compare various wireless microphone systems.

I’ll use this opportunity to provide an overview of the Mevo Start cameras and its companion Multicam app which allows for camera switching, graphic management and audio mixing.

The created video and audio content can be recorded on a table or phone as well as on the individual cameras and through the Multicam app. Simply stated this setup is somewhat unique and there is a learning curve. After reading various forum posts asking about which wireless microphones sound best, I decided to enlist the assistance of Siren and Katya to put seven wireless microphones to the test.
