Just A Few Days Remaining To Subscribe To DirecTV Now At A Protected Price

While I’ll be posting a review in the near future, just a note that if you currently subscribe to AT&T cellular service, you may want to take a look at DirecTV’s “DirecTV Now” service. The inaugural “Go Big” promotional plan of $35 for 100 channels is set to expire on January 9th and the price will jump to $60 per month after that date. Those who take advantage of the offer will be grandfathered for as long as they keep the service. If you subscribe you’ll receive a free Kindle Fire Stick or, if you pay for three months in advance, you’ll receive a free Apple TV.

The bundle includes the basic channels, but the network channels (ABC, FOX, NBC) are only available in major markets. CBS is not a part of this program as they have their own App for $5 per month.

One very important note:

If you use AT&T service, watching the DirecTV Now channels will NOT consumer data from your existing plan. New customer AT&T data plans start at $10 per month.

DirecTV Now

This is not a commercial or paid placement for AT&T or DirecTV Now and I’m not receiving any fees or commissions for this story. While this service may not appeal to everyone, it does have a nice application for RV/Motorhome owners and as I perform the full review, this will be the angle I’ll be taking. As a companion for this service, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy 18″ tablet (it’s huge for camping applications) and, as stated, I’ll provide a full review in the near future.
